Tras el anuncio de Haas, Stake oficializ\u00f3 el fichaje de Nico H\u00fclkenberg <\/a>por Sauber, con vistas a 2026 en su transformaci\u00f3n a Audi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ma\u00f1ana movida en las oficinas de Haas y Stake<\/a>, 2 equipos que suelen ser noticia en los despachos que en la pista. Sauber hace oficial lo que era un secreto a voces: H\u00fclkenberg ser\u00e1 su nuevo piloto. El t\u00e1ndem alem\u00e1n Nico-Audi ha sido clave en el fichaje del germano por la futura escuder\u00eda de los 4 aros. Por el momento, el reci\u00e9n confirmado piloto de Stake lucir\u00e1 los colores negros y verdes fluorescente hasta la llegada de la firma alemana a la parrilla. Bottas o Zhou tendr\u00e1n que salir, un anuncio que se har\u00e1 a su debido tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bbEstamos muy contentos de dar la bienvenida a Nico en Hinwil a partir de 2025 y competir con \u00e9l en la F1. Su velocidad, experiencia y compromiso ser\u00e1n claves en la transformaci\u00f3n del equipo a Audi. Desde el principio hubo un inter\u00e9s mutuo, por lo que nos ayudar\u00e1 a desarrollar el coche y aportar\u00e1 a la construcci\u00f3n del equipo gracias a su personalidad tanto dentro como fuera de la pista\u00bb, <\/strong>coment\u00f3 Andreas Seidl, CEO de Sauber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El piloto declar\u00f3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bbVuelvo al equipo por primera vez desde 2013 y tengo buenos recuerdos del esp\u00edritu de Suiza. Competir para Audi ser\u00e1 muy especial. Es una ocasi\u00f3n \u00fanica representar a un equipo con unidad de potencia fabricada en Alemania. Es un honor para m\u00ed\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pese a estar muchos a\u00f1os en la categor\u00eda, Nico no ha conseguido un podio. H\u00fclkenberg debut\u00f3 en 2010 en F1 con Williams, aunque ya formaba parte del equipo en 2009 como piloto de pruebas. Desde 2011 a 2014 compiti\u00f3 para Force India, abandon\u00f3 la competici\u00f3n y volvi\u00f3 al equipo en 2016. En 2017 a 2019 se fue a Renault. A partir de ah\u00ed se qued\u00f3 como piloto reserva para sustituir a aquellos que dieran positivo en COVID para Racing Point y en su transformaci\u00f3n a Aston Martin. En 2023, logr\u00f3 un asiento fijo en Haas, que finalizar\u00e1 al t\u00e9rmino de la presente temporada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
