El estadounidense Jak Crawford, quien compite en F2, se une a Aston Martin en un d\u00eda redondo para el equipo brit\u00e1nico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El equipo Aston Martin marc\u00f3 el d\u00eda 12 de febrero de 2024 en rojo; era la fecha de salida del AMR24<\/a>. Todos los focos estaban puestos en el equipo verde de Silverstone, y ellos han decidido aprovechar la explosi\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica para anunciar un fichaje. Pero no un fichaje cualquiera, uno para su programa de desarrollo de pilotos (academia de pilotos), que empieza a tomar forma. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El piloto natural de Charlotte, Carolina del Norte, competir\u00e1 por segunda vez en la F\u00f3rmula 2 en este 2024, despu\u00e9s de debutar como rookie en 2023 con el equipo Hitech. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este a\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n formar\u00e1 parte de la parrilla, aunque con la escuder\u00eda francesa DAMS, acompa\u00f1ado por su compatriota Juan Manuel Correa. Crawford comenz\u00f3 a ser conocido en 2020, cuando se proclam\u00f3 subcampe\u00f3n de la ADAC F\u00f3rmula 4 con el equipo Van Amersfoort. En 2021 termin\u00f3 en tercera posici\u00f3n del Eurof\u00f3rmula Open, dando as\u00ed el salto a la F3 en 2022. Ese a\u00f1o logr\u00f3 una s\u00e9ptima posici\u00f3n en la clasificaci\u00f3n, lo que le vali\u00f3 para dar el salto a la F2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La temporada pasada en la F2 fue irregular. Crawford fue capaz de hacer podios (Zandvoort, M\u00f3naco, Bak\u00fa y Melbourne), e incluso de ganar una Sprint, en Austria; todo esto en su a\u00f1o de rookie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan el comunicado de Aston Martin, Crawford ser\u00e1 llamado para apoyar las operaciones de carrera con trabajos frecuentes en el simulador del Campus Tecnol\u00f3gico de Aston Martin Racing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
