El australiano Jack Doohan se queda en la estructura Alpine manteniendo su rol de piloto reserva, aunque no competir\u00e1 en ninguna categor\u00eda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Contin\u00faan las noticias en la F\u00f3rmula 1<\/a>. En este caso, nos vamos a Enstone, una de las sedes del equipo Alpine. Hoy, 7 de febrero, justo despu\u00e9s de presentar el A424 que competir\u00e1 en el WEC y el A524<\/a> de F1, el equipo franc\u00e9s ha comunicado la renovaci\u00f3n de Jack Doohan, hijo del m\u00edtico pentacampe\u00f3n de la MotoGP, Mick Doohan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doohan ocup\u00f3 el puesto de piloto reserva en 2023, y se repetir\u00e1 la alineaci\u00f3n este a\u00f1o (Gasly, Ocon y Doohan). El australiano, exmiembro de la Red Bull Academy, parece ser que no correr\u00e1 en ninguna otra categor\u00eda y centrar\u00e1 sus esfuerzos en Alpine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Doohan siempre ha sido un piloto sobresaliente, desde que destacara por primera vez en monoplazas en 2018 en la F4 brit\u00e1nica. Ese a\u00f1o, y con tan solo 15 a\u00f1os, termin\u00f3 en quinta posici\u00f3n con 3 victorias y 12 podios. Posteriormente, en 2021, qued\u00f3 segundo en la F3 con el equipo italiano Trident. Esa parrilla estaba llena de grandes talentos: Dennis Hauger (ganador de aquella edici\u00f3n), Frederik Vesti, Logan Sargeant, Ayumu Iwasa o Victor Martins. Esos grandes resultados le dieron el pase a la F2 de la mano de Virtuosi. En su primera temporada fue sexto; 3 victorias, 3 poles y 6 podios para un total de 128 puntos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su segundo a\u00f1o, y \u00faltima temporada, fue sin duda la mejor. En 2023, tambi\u00e9n con Invicta Virtuosi, gan\u00f3 tres carreras y lleg\u00f3 al podio en 5 ocasiones, y pese a que los resultados parecen peores que los de 2022, en muchos tramos de la temporada se le vio un piloto seguro y capaz, quiz\u00e1s preparado para dar el salto al siguiente nivel. Este gran desempe\u00f1o le sirvi\u00f3 para terminar en tercera posici\u00f3n en el Mundial de Pilotos, solo por detr\u00e1s de Vesti y Pourchaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
