Tras la confirmaci\u00f3n de la renovaci\u00f3n de Zhou con Sauber, el siguiente ha sido la oficialidad de Pourchaire como piloto reserva para 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Una de las mayores inc\u00f3gnitas de esta fase final del mercado de fichajes ya se ha resuelto.

Guanyu Zhou<\/a> seguir\u00e1 pilotando para Sauber en la temporada 2024 de F\u00f3rmula 1.
Por tanto, ser\u00eda la tercera temporada seguida del piloto chino en la escuder\u00eda como compa\u00f1ero de Valtteri Bottas.

Esta renovaci\u00f3n ha desencadenado tambi\u00e9n un anuncio sobre el futuro de Th\u00e9o Pourchaire. El piloto franc\u00e9s lidera el Campeonato de F\u00f3rmula 2 a falta de un fin de semana, y era por tanto candidato a pilotar el Alfa Romeo la temporada pr\u00f3xima. Sin embargo, el anuncio de la renovaci\u00f3n de Zhou, ha cerrado las puertas a Pourchaire y la posibilidad de ser piloto titular.

De esta forma, Pourchaire ser\u00e1 el piloto reserva de Sauber<\/a> en 2024. Ejercer\u00e1 como tercer piloto y se mantendr\u00e1 dentro de la estructura con el fin de poder ocupar alg\u00fan asiento en las temporadas venideras.

Este hecho quiere decir, que se proclame o no campe\u00f3n de F\u00f3rmula 2 en Yas Marina, dejar\u00e1 el Campeonato y como era de esperar, no llevar\u00e1 a cabo una cuarta campa\u00f1a en la antesala de la F\u00f3rmula 1.

Por tanto, si fuese campe\u00f3n, se dar\u00eda un hecho poco com\u00fan, que tan s\u00f3lo se ha producido en una ocasi\u00f3n desde que existe el Campeonato de F2 o la antigua GP2 Series. Se producir\u00eda que durante 3 a\u00f1os seguidos, el campe\u00f3n de la competici\u00f3n que act\u00faa como principal antesala de F1, no ingresa en la categor\u00eda reina del automovilismo. Pas\u00f3 con Piastri, con Drugovich, y ahora pasar\u00eda tambi\u00e9n con Pourchaire.
Tambi\u00e9n ocurri\u00f3 en las temporadas 2012, 2013 y 2014; en las que Valsecchi, Leimer y Palmer vencieron, pero ninguno de ellos ascendi\u00f3 a F1 al a\u00f1o siguiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
