El piloto brit\u00e1nico John Bennett se une al equipo italiano para disputar su segunda temporada completa de la F2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La categor\u00eda de plata<\/a> termin\u00f3 el pasado domingo pero los tests de postemporada comienzan esta misma semana. Los equipos comienzan a tener el primer contacto con el personal que trabajar\u00e1n con ellos en la pr\u00f3xima temporada. En esta tesitura se encuentra Trident<\/a>, quienes han confirmado a John Bennett como su segundo piloto, tras anunciar a Laurens Van Hoepen en el d\u00eda de ayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bbEstoy extremadamente feliz por correr en Trident en la F2 2026. Estoy muy agradecido por esta oportunidad y por seguir luchando en esta categor\u00eda. No puedo esperar a debutar en pista y conseguir grandes resultados juntos.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bbEstamos encantados de anunciar a John Bennett, quien correr\u00e1 con nosotros en la F2 2026. Es un piloto al que hemos podido observar su rendimiento s\u00f3lido, sobre todo en esta parte final de la temporada. Conf\u00edo en que el piloto brit\u00e1nico tenga todas las cualidades necesarias para trabajar con nuestro equipo t\u00e9cnico y tener una temporada competitiva.\u00bb <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

John debut\u00f3 en F2 en 2024, cuando corri\u00f3 en las \u00faltimas 2 rondas, en Qatar y Abu Dhabi con Van Amersfoort Racing con una meritoria 8\u00ba plaza. Ese desempe\u00f1o le vali\u00f3 para quedarse en el asiento titular en VAR para la temporada 2025, donde su \u00fanico punto procede de la carrera larga del Gran Premio de Italia en Monza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para 2026, Bennett estar\u00e1 en Trident, un asiento para el cual apuntaba Christian Mansell en su regreso a las carreras, sin embargo, el australiano no ha encontrado el presupuesto necesario para afrontar dicha plaza. Christian lleg\u00f3 a hacer tests privados en los recientes meses con Trident para una posible vuelta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
