El piloto esrilanqu\u00e9s Yevan David debutar\u00e1 con AIX Racing la pr\u00f3xima temporada, siendo el primer piloto de Sri Lanka en competir en la F3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Con el campeonato ya decidido y a falta de una ronda para finalizar la presente campa\u00f1a, los equipos van mirando al futuro. 2026 ser\u00e1 la temporada en la que la nueva reglamentaci\u00f3n se afiance, momento para que los equipos m\u00e1s rezagados resurjan. Uno de ellos es AIX Racing, quienes han tenido muchos problemas para encontrar un tercer piloto este 2025 que cumpliera sus est\u00e1ndares, por lo que mueven ficha para 2026 y su primer piloto del tr\u00edo ser\u00e1 Yevan David.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bbEstoy muy agradecido por esta oportunidad de competir con AIX Racing siendo el primer piloto de Sri Lanka en la F3. Este equipo ha demostrado su val\u00eda y tengo muchas ganas de conseguir grandes cosas juntos.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trayectoria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

David cuenta con poca experiencia en f\u00f3rmulas pero ha participado en categor\u00edas de formaci\u00f3n muy importantes. Su debut en monoplazas fue el a\u00f1o pasado en la F4 de Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos. All\u00ed no consigui\u00f3 puntos, no obstante, corri\u00f3 en la F4 Espa\u00f1ola donde logr\u00f3 12 puntos y en la Eurocup-3, donde se agenci\u00f3 7 puntos. De ah\u00ed salt\u00f3 a la Euroformula Open, competici\u00f3n en la que alcanz\u00f3 sus mejores estad\u00edsticas: 2 victorias y 3 podios que no contaron al ser un piloto invitado. Para cerrar 2024, represent\u00f3 a su pa\u00eds en los FIA Motorsport Games de Valencia, donde FirstLap F1 tuvo el placer de ir acreditados. Aqu\u00ed se embols\u00f3 1 podio y una pole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este mismo a\u00f1o, su palmar\u00e9s aumentar\u00e1, pues est\u00e1 repitiendo en la Euroformula Open y, a falta de 9 carreras, ha conseguido 4 victorias y 9 podios, que le sit\u00faa 2\u00ba en la general a 17 puntos del l\u00edder. A la vez, ha podido probar la GB3, logrando 15 puntos en 3 carreras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con este fichaje, quedan 29 asientos disponibles en la parrilla de la F3 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
